"I went into the interview feeling well prepared and at ease. I was delighted to be offered the job within the week!"
"My daughter just won a place in the 2018 ACT Graduate Program. To be honest I never thought it possible – the grad. program is seriously competitive and my daughter’s uni grades were pretty average! However a grad. placement was something she both wanted and felt she needed; knowing that such placements provide mentoring, opportunities and support beyond that of a mainstream job.
We engaged Lisa in the hope that her interview coaching would provide my daughter with the skills she needed, and a competitive edge, in her graduate interview rounds. Our hopes were definitely realised. From the outset Lisa’s approach was competent, professional and personable. Lisa made my daughter feel both at ease but also very aware of what would be required of her.
For my daughter, the benefits of Lisa’s coaching (aside from winning the job)! were her understanding of how the graduate recruitment program and the ACT public service operate. Lisa combined this knowledge with her skills as a psychologist to build the most appropriate interview scenarios and coaching techniques for my daughter.
We are very grateful to Lisa for her help."

"Lisa’s coaching is really helpful! At my most recent interview, I felt fully prepared to handle any behavioural interview question or scenario that might come up.
Getting help preparing for job interviews can be a difficult thing to ask for, but Lisa’s positive and reassuring manner allowed me to relax and focus on the task at hand (getting lots of constructive feedback to help prepare me for an upcoming interview).
Her two step approach works really well. At our first meeting we discussed the role I was interviewing for, my career, and what I specifically needed help with before moving on to answering some mock interview questions. Her feedback at this point really helped improve my responses. Then I was given some “homework” to do to prepare for our next meeting (a more realistic mock interview), and I had another chance to practise my newly developed skills and improve.
It’s a great service, and I can’t recommend Lisa’s coaching enough for anyone who would like to polish their interview skills in a safe environment before going into a potentially life changing job interview."

"I was out of work for over a year after taking a voluntary redundancy, and concerned about interviewing for the first time in more than a decade.
Lisa took a very practical approach. She encouraged me to research the government department I was applying for, helped me anticipate what questions might be asked, and guided me in formulating answers.
I found the role play session really helped me gain confidence, and I went into the interview feeling well prepared and at ease. I was delighted to be offered the job within the week!"
"Interview coaching with Lisa was focused, enlightening and confidence-building.
Lisa combined her current and broad knowledge of the APS interview process with a positive coaching style to draw out my experience and skills.
Putting yourself through a trial run is invaluable to preparing for a central agency interview.
It was almost fun!"
"I worked with Lisa on a national assessment and recruitment program in 2016 where she interviewed hundreds of hopeful public sector candidates.
Lisa provided a professional, objective and genuine approach to her work.
I learnt a lot from Lisa, in particular how to draw out the best from the candidate as well as many hints and tips for being the candidate.
I would work with her again in a heartbeat!! Highly recommend Lisa and her expertise."
